So I am finally getting my act together and posting some new videos for everyone! Well really - I'm sick with a cold right now so I thought getting some videos online would be a good way of "resting" but still feeling productive!
Our house is coming together nicely and we are all settling in well. Ben does great in his crib for naps - we are still working on nighttime though. He loves crawling around on the floor and standing at the coffee table. He is getting pretty good at making his way around it too.
Brent's sister, Brittany, and her son Landon are here to visit for 6 weeks. Landon is just about 4 months older than Ben and we are hoping they will become good buddies before they go back to Florida. Maybe Landon will even teach Ben to walk! :)

All Moved IN!!! Finally :)
Ben in a box - doing his part to aid in the unpacking!
I see you!
The mass chaos that is slowly morphing itself into our home...
The living room is looking pretty livable!
Likes the toy box more than the toys!
Yup - it's official...we have been living in our house for about a week now! It is so wonderful to have space to spread out and for Ben to have his own room. He seems to like his crib and does really well sleeping for naps and most of the night. Moving was a lot of work and it still is as I try to find a place for everything. I try not to complain by remembering how much work Brent put into the house - the least I can do is move some boxes!!! I had a good time organizing the kitchen - I still had wedding gifts in boxes because there wasn't anywhere to put them in our apartment in Omaha! I now have all the kitchen stuff put away and I still have empty shelves! The rest of the house is slowly coming together. It's hard to stay focused and get one thing done because there is so much to do. Ben is loving exploring and has started pulling up on things and cruising along the furniture. He is still doing his "trench crawl" so we'll see if he ever crawls like a normal kid!

Kitchen Cabinets!
9 Months
Chillin' in his crib...
I think I might like it!
Ready to crawl!
I'm so cute!
Ben turned 9 months on July 28th... He is such a big boy now! He is really on the move too. He doesn't crawl with his knees under him but he pulls himself around on his belly with his hands and pushes with his feet. He's pretty quick at it too! Gone are the days when I could leave him on the floor with toys while I ran to put in a load of laundry or something. The swing is really coming in handy now!

Crawling! Almost...
Ready to go!
I don't think I like it!
Well...maybe it's not so bad...
I think I'll just play with my toys.
Ben is really working on crawling. He can get around really well on his belly if he on the wood. He is even able to get around just in the last couple days on the carpet too. He sometimes thinks about pulling his legs under him into a "normal" crawl stance, but I wonder if he just scoot along on his belly since at our new house we have concrete and hardwood floors? I guess we'll see!
Setting Up Ben's Crib
Granpa Doug set up Ben's crib. He also hung doors, set up our dresser and nightstand and hung shelving in our closet, Ben's closet and the laundry room. Granma supervised! But really she watched Ben a lot for me so I could start moving stuff in which was so helpful!
Who has the best parents ever??? I do! I do! :)
Ben trying out his new bed! He is still sleeping next to our bed in his cosleeper. He is almost as long as it so his new bed is coming at a perfect time!
Ben's Dedication at Church
The Grands - Great Grandparents Don and Loma, Granpa Doug, Granma Cathie, Grandma Debbie and Karmen who is pretty much Ben's grandma too!
It was so nice for Ben to have 4 generations at his dedication!
The boys...Jim would have been there except he was on his rotation for the slope,
Our happy "little" family!
Ben was dedicated at church on July 20th. We scheduled it then so my parents could be here. Pastor Keith performed the ceremony and Ben was very good. I was a little apprehensive that he would freak out when the Pastor held him but he did just fine. At the end during the prayer Ben was pulling on the Pastor's goatee and his microphone on his shirt. It was pretty cute! Ben wore his "Island Outfit" from the Bitter's - he looked so cute!
