Ben loved running in the water at the beach - of course it didn't occur to me to bring extra shoes so the poor guy had to wear wet ones the rest of the day!
Since Noah just started officially walking 2 days previous he loved walking around on the beach.

The Spit
A couple weekends ago we took a mini vacation to Homer. We stayed in a beautiful cabin with great views. We had such a fun time walking around the pier looking at all the boats. The highlight was going to the beach - there have been so many rainy, cloudy days but the day we went to the beach was perfect out. You can tell from the pictures that it wasn't super warm - a little windy - so we needed hats and coats. The boys were pretty good on the long drive to and from Homer. The only bad part was when Ben puked all over himself and his car seat on the way home. The good part about it was that we were literally a minute from home... poor guy!!! He hadn't ever gotten sick before so he was quite surprised.
