While Ben and I were in Colorado we got together for lunch and shopping with my Big Sis from Zeta and her little girl, Haley, and her mom, Nancy. This was the first time I got to meet Haley - she is the most precious thing ever! My mom said the two babies were like "Beauty and the Beast" because Haley was so little and pretty and Ben is such a brute! We had a lot of fun but it sure is different now hanging out compared to when we didn't have kids!

One day while we were in Colorado we went to my mom's friend, Denise's house, to do yoga. She teaches small classes out od her home. It was just me and my mom so we had a "private" session...it was really fun and so relaxing! It felt good to fully stretch out my body after all the traveling. Denise made us a yummy salad afterwards and we chatted on her back porch in the sunshine. Thanks Denise! :)

After church the first Sunday we were in Colorado we went across the street to this huge park. It was such a beautiful day out! Ben got his first real taste of sitting on grass with bare legs and wasn't sure what to make of it.

My new toolbox

Granma Cathie bought Ben a toolbox so he'd be ready to help his papa build our house when we got back from Colorado!

Ben loved his little highchair that his granma and granpa had set up for him in Colorado! It's just like the one I bought for when we move to our house...so at least I know he likes it!

All shopped out in Colorado!

Ben and I have been traveling since May 12th. We stopped in LA to visit my sister Rose and her boyfriend Andrew. The have a super sweet loft in the heart of downtown LA right by the Staple Center and Nokia Theater. It was so much fun! We went to the beach, Rodeo Drive, Hollywood and other fun shopping spots. I had a great time being waited on by my sister - she's such a good cook -mmmm yummy eggs...
Right now we are in Colorado visiting my parents. We are having a great time here too. My mom, Ben and I have been shopping almost everyday and Ben has been such a trooper!
I will update with many more cute pictures from our photoshoot at the beach and all the cute pictures from Colorado as well when I get home!

New Things

Ben has a few more "tricks" to add to his list:

* He started saying dada on Thursday. Not to Brent particularly but to his feet, his mama, the air, etc...

* He decided he really wasn't too cool to roll over and has started doing it. He rolled over a handful of times back in the day when he was 3 months old but hadn't done it since. It wasn't as hard as he thought... Must have been all the chub that got in the way!

*He is now opening his mouth for solid food! Yay - this makes feeding time much less frustrating for me and much more filling for him. It was weird because one feeding he just all of a sudden was opening his mouth for every bite. It's like he suddenly decided - okay it's good I'll eat it - or something.
