Just a little bit of sheetrock...anybody want to come hang it???

Brent is almost done insulating the house. This is great for him because it has been about 30 degrees downstairs and much colder upstairs without the insulation. Makes for a very chilly working environment and who can get motivated in those conditions? Now the heat won't go straight out the roof! Next comes the sheetrock. Brent is going to try to get most of it hung before my dad comes out in the end of March to help with the mudding, taping and texturing. It's really starting to look like a house inside!

Happy Valentine's Day everyone!
Sorry for the lack of updates recently. Our computer had a virus and we had to wipe the whole thing and start over. But we are mostly up and running now!
Benjamin and I got back from our 3 week trip to Colorado on Feb. 2. We had such a WONDERFUL time! We have already booked a trip out to AK for my Dad in March (he has agreed to help with drywall! Thanks Dad) and there is talk of another trip out to CO and probably LA to see Rosie in May!
Since we have been home we have just been trying to get things back in order, particularly Ben's sleeping! He slept many nights from 9pm to 7am in Colorado, but since we have been back in AK he is waking up a ton! Makes for a slightly grumpy Mamma...
We also took him to the pediatrician last Friday for a check up and also to look at a rash. Turns out it was a little bit of eczema...but since then his skin is almost fully cleared up. We have been using a special homeopathic cream and Eucerin lotion combined with "wet dressings". He also got weighed and is up to 15 lbs 12 oz...what a chunky monkey! He has grown an inch since his last visit as well.
It has been super cold since we got home (10 degrees or less), but yesterday it finally warmed up to 30 degrees. We got to go out for a walk up the road - so nice to out in the fresh air! The warm weather also comes as a good thing Brent... he is working on insulating the house so it has been pretty cold up there! The next few days are suppose to be 25 degrees or above so that will be nice for him to work in.

My mom, sister, Ben and I all went to Christy's baby shower on January 27th. It was really fun seeing all the pink! She got a lot of really cute things...there was a ton of "oohing" and "ahhing" going on!

"My Aunt Loves Me" :)

Rosie and Andrew came out to visit for a quick trip. Ben hadn't met his Auntie Rosie until now. Of course he loved her! They also brought their dog, Starbux Frapiccino Fashion, to visit with them. We had a lot of fun while they were here. We had Thanksgiving and did a photoshoot for Ben and Rose and I got a manicure and pedicure while Granma watched Benjamin.
